Softball Recap: Grady Beats Lafayette for Their Sixth Straight Win

Grady won against CSI International Studies on Tuesday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Falcons never let the Lafayette Patriots get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Grady, bringing their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.2 runs over those games. As for Lafayette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grady will venture away from home to face off against Sunset Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette, they will head out to challenge Brooklyn Studio at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
