White Plains won the last time they faced Port Chester and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers won by a run and slipped past the Rams 4-3. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one run.

Tyler Older was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

White Plains hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Port Chester struck out 11 times.

The win made it two in a row for White Plains and bumps their season record up to 6-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Port Chester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: White Plains beat the Rams by a score of 13-0 on Wednesday.
