Soccer Recap: Richland's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Richland kept a clean sheet against Hermiston on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Richland's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Hermiston are ranked 200th).

Evyn McLellan and Andrew Gallegos scored both of Richland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Richland's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. As for Hermiston, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Richland and Hermiston will both be playing Kennewick the next time they take the pitch. The Bombers will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
