Basketball Game Preview: Travis Rebels vs. Cedar Park Timberwolves

The Travis Rebels will take on the Cedar Park Timberwolves in a tournament on Friday. Cedar Park took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Travis, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, everything went Travis' way against New Braunfels Thunder as Travis made off with a 68-44 win. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cedar Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of Rouse. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Raiders are ranked 205th).

Cedar Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Travis, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Travis suffered a grim 64-43 defeat to Cedar Park in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. Can Travis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
