Basketball Recap: McCormick Takes a Loss

McCormick lost against Abbeville last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McCormick Chiefs fell 62-54 to the Abbeville Panthers.

Jaden Baylor was his usual excellent self, going 9-for-15 on his way to 26 points along with six boards and three blocks for Abbeville. That's the most points Baylor has posted since back in December of 2024. Justin Rollinson was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

McCormick's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Abbeville, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

As of now, neither McCormick nor Abbeville have any future games scheduled.
