Softball Recap: Sageview Comes Up Short

Kennewick hit Sageview with a five-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lobos came up short against the Lions, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 on Friday.

Sageview's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Kennewick, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sageview will square off against rival Hanford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kennewick is set to take on their familiar foe Chiawana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
