Baseball Recap: Borah Lions vs. Boise Brave
The matchup between Borah and Boise on Thursday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. Borah blew past Boise 14-7. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Brave: they've now won three in a row.

Tate Kubena made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. Kubena was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
