Baseball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short

Brandon suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Saturday. They came up short against the Neville Tigers, falling 9-2. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Brandon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tai Jones, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those two hits gave Jones a new career-high.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Neville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Brandon will take on Pearl at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neville, they will challenge Glenbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
