David Sheppard put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sheppard and Millennium will face off against Sunnyslope at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Sheppard's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Tigers' three-game streak of wins on the road.
