Soccer Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

If Arcadia was feeling good fresh off their 5-2 takedown of Lancaster on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Firebirds lost 4-1 to the Tabb Tigers on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Arcadia of the 7-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Arcadia's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tabb, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcadia will challenge Lake Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Taylor's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tabb, they will take on Grafton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tabb will need to watch out since Grafton have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
