Soccer Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

Seguin managed to keep up with Jefferson until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Seguin Matadors came up short against the Jefferson Mustangs, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Matadors have lost by exactly four goals.

Seguin has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Edison the next time they take the pitch. Jefferson will head out to face Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Seguin will host them at 11:30 a.m. on February 1st.
