Charles Lucas gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Saturday. He was dynamite, striking out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Odyssey Institute is 4-1-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-9 otherwise.

Coming up, Lucas and Odyssey Institute will venture away from home to take on Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Minotaur are 9-1 against the Phoenix going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
