Softball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Beachside's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Beachside unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Menendez Falcons. If the Barracudas were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mallie Meadows was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Tatum Pocol was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Beachside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Menendez, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beachside will take on Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Menendez, they will face off against Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
