A big part of Moody's win came down to the chemistry between Lee Womack and his top target Caleb Stinson. Womack threw for 212 yards and a pair of TDs while Stinson picked up 115 receiving yards and one score. Womack's passing game has become a key predictor of Moody's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. The Bulldogs took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-13 victory over the Hornets. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Moody better keep an eye on Hudson Thigpen. He was instrumental in Thorndale's win, rushing for 162 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Harkins, who rushed for 62 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Thorndale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holland only rushed for 127.
Moody's record now sits at 6-4. As for Thorndale, their record is now 7-3.
