Baseball Recap: Waynoka Triumphs

The third road contest was the charm for Waynoka, as they earned their first road win of the season. They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Medford Cardinals on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Railroaders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Waynoka's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Medford, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

After both having extra time off, Waynoka and Timberlake will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. Timberlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Waynoka surely won't give up without a fight. Medford will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oklahoma Bible at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
