Soccer Game Preview: Colfax vs. Oakmont

The Colfax Falcons will face off against the Oakmont Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colfax will be strutting in after a win while Oakmont will be coming in after a defeat.

Colfax will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Friday, then bounced right back against Marysville on Tuesday. Colfax came out on top against Marysville by a score of 4-2. Considering the Falcons' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Marysville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Green, Caleb Diederichs, Mac Kistner, and Hudson McDonnell.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Oakmont's offense. They fell 2-0 to Mira Loma on Friday.

Oakmont's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-5. As for Colfax, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1.
