Basketball Recap: Calvary Academy Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Calvary Academy Lions came up short against the Trinity Valley Trojans and fell 62-54. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Trinity Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Calvary Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ovilla Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Trinity Valley will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Oakridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
