After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last six games, Eastern Guilford finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a hard 21-2 fall against the Dudley Panthers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Eastern Guilford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Shawn Morris, Jerome Teague, Steven Murray, and Dj Parker picked up one apiece.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dudley to victory, but perhaps none more so than CJ Neely, who picked up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Koredell Bartley also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.

The defeat snapped Eastern Guilford's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Dudley, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
