Volleyball Recap: Walsh Jesuit Wins Going Away Against Max S. Hayes

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Francis DeSales, Walsh Jesuit was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Max S. Hayes Lakers 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Walsh Jesuit was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5, 25-8.

Walsh Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Max S. Hayes, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Walsh Jesuit will challenge rival Louisville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Max S. Hayes is set to square off against their familiar foe Collinwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
