Basketball Recap: Golden Plains Takes a Loss

After flying high against Triplains/Brewster last Tuesday, Golden Plains came back down to earth. The Golden Plains Bulldogs were beaten by the Cheylin Cougars 66-34 on Friday. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Golden Plains now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cheylin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Golden Plains has already played their next matchup, a 35-21 victory against St. Francis on the 14th. As for Cheylin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-46 defeat against Wallace County on the 14th.
