Basketball Game Preview: Alamo Navajo Cougars vs. Rehoboth Christian Lynx

The Alamo Navajo Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Rehoboth Christian Lynx at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alamo Navajo is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mescalero Apache just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Rehoboth Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Legacy Academy on Monday and fell 53-50.

Rehoboth Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Alamo Navajo, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Alamo Navajo might still be hurting after the 63-43 defeat they got from Rehoboth Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2018. Thankfully for Alamo Navajo, Jake Zylstra (who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
