Baseball Recap: Lavaca Comes Up Short

The Lavaca Golden Arrows came up short against the Providence Academy Patriots on Thursday, falling 8-1. The Golden Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lavaca now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Providence Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lavaca will host Cedarville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Cedarville's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Providence Academy, they will welcome Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
