Oxford came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Southaven Chargers a 4-0 shutout. Considering Oxford has won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Oxford is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those seven matches. As for Southaven, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
