Preview: Priory Panthers vs. Menlo School Knights
After two games on the road, Priory is heading back home. They will take on the Menlo School Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Priory didn't have too much trouble with Crystal Springs Uplands on the road as they won 61-43.
Priory's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Balasz Nyikos, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Gallon, who scored 14 points.
Menlo School posted their biggest win since December 16, 2023 on Friday. They breezed by Eastside College Prep at home to the tune of 68-40.
Priory's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Menlo School, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Priory strolled past Menlo School when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 60-44. Will Priory repeat their success, or does Menlo School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
