Soccer Recap: DeLand Takes a Loss

DeLand's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Taylor Wildcats by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for DeLand and nudges their season record down to 5-9-2. As for Taylor, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.

DeLand will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. Pine Ridge's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to face off against Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
