Sunrise Mountain can bid farewell to their ten-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Indian Springs Thunderbirds as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Miners not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 14th (when they won 3-0).

Sunrise Mountain was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-23.

Indian Springs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Acelynn Flanigan, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Mia Clay, who had 12 digs and seven kills.

Sunrise Mountain's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Indian Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Sunrise Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Springs, they will face off against Beatty at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
