Soccer Recap: Bridgeport Falls Short of Randall in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bridgeport can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Randall Raiders on Friday. While losing is never fun, Bridgeport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 555th, while Randall are ranked 175th).

Bridgeport has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season. Randall's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5-1.

Bridgeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randall, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against San Elizario on the 25th.
