Volleyball Recap: Mira Mesa Gets the Win

After losing to Brawley the last time they met, Mira Mesa decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Marauders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats on Saturday.

Mira Mesa can attribute much of their success to Bailey McBride, who had four digs and three aces. Juliette Wheeler also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Mira Mesa's record now sits at 16-14. As for Brawley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-9.

Coming up, Mira Mesa will take on Horizon Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brawley, they will challenge Imperial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
