Baseball Game Preview: First Baptist Christian Warriors vs. Alpha Omega Academy Lions

The First Baptist Christian Warriors will square off against the Alpha Omega Academy Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for First Baptist Christian's offense. They fell just short of Tomball Kings by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Alpha Omega Academy took on Covenant Christian on Tuesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Alpha Omega Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 14-3-1. As for First Baptist Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1.

First Baptist Christian skirted past Alpha Omega Academy 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
