After losing to Out-of-Door Academy the last time they met, Indian Rocks Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Emma Eisenman paced Indian Rocks Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Eisenman got some help from Olivia Anderson and her 13 assists. Brynn Farmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the defeat, Out-of-Door Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emmy Coachys had 15 assists and three aces. Coachys has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Indian Rocks Christian has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Out-of-Door Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Indian Rocks Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Southwest Florida Christian on the 22nd. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Merritt Island Christian on the 22nd.
