Scituate and St. Raphael Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2015, but likely not for long. The Spartans will challenge the Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Scituate will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Scituate is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Lincoln, who was ranked 16th at the time (Scituate was ranked fourth). The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions on Saturday.

Travis White and Devin Mowry scored both of Scituate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, St. Raphael Academy managed to keep up with East Providence until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Saints came up short against the Townies, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for St. Raphael Academy in their meetings with East Providence: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Raphael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Scituate, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-2.

Scituate beat St. Raphael Academy by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2023, winning 1-0. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
