The Fallston Cougars came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 48-43 W over C. Milton Wright. Given Fallston's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while C. Milton Wright is ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ayla Galloway, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 16 rebounds, and ten assists. The contest was her 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bolesta Brooke, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Fallston pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for C. Milton Wright, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
