Volleyball Recap: Neodesha Extends Winning Streak to Five

Neodesha waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Caney Valley Bullpups by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Neodesha easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Neodesha can attribute much of their success to Dalia Johnson, who had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces Johnson has posted since back in September.

Neodesha's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Caney Valley, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

Coincidentally, Neodesha and Caney Valley will both be playing Humboldt the next time they take the court. The Bullpups will host the Cubs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Streaks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
