Legacy won the last time they faced Rangeview and things went their way on Friday too. The Lightning strolled past the Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The Lightning pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Gardner, who threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns. Peyton Studebaker got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

The victory got Legacy back to even at 4-4. As for Rangeview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Legacy will challenge rival Erie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rangeview is set to take on their familiar foe Vista PEAK Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
