Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Heights Huskies vs. Rensselaer Central Bombers

The Hamilton Heights Huskies will take on the Rensselaer Central Bombers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Hamilton Heights and four for Rensselaer Central.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hamilton Heights' offense. They fell 4-0 to McCutcheon on Thursday.

Hamilton Heights got a good showing from Kaden Lawson, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The Huskies are 3-1 when Lawson allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-13 otherwise.

Kankakee Valley hit Rensselaer Central with a seven-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bombers came up short against the Kougars, falling 10-2.

Hamilton Heights' loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Rensselaer Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
