Basketball Recap: Hammonton Takes a Loss

Hammonton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 58-45 to the Lower Cape May Tigers. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 58-44.

Hammonton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lower Cape May, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Hammonton will challenge Seneca at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lower Cape May, they will face off against Bridgeton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bridgeton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
