Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 50-12 victory over the Edison Red Raiders. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will head out to challenge Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edison, they will venture away from home to square off against Killian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
