Football Recap: Manning Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Manning proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 33) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada 16-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Monarchs have posted since November 22, 2024.

Despite the loss, Atlantic Collegiate Academy still got an impressive performance from Semaj Wilson, who rushed for 76 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also threw for five yards and one TD.

Manning's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points on average over those games. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
