Volleyball Recap: Pleasant View Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northpoint Christian

Pleasant View had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Northpoint Christian Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12, 25-8.

Northpoint Christian found their leader in sophomore Sarah Johnson, who had 12 assists and six aces. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 21 times she's played.

The victory (which was Northpoint Christian's fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Pleasant View will take on Evangelical Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northpoint Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against DeSoto Central on the 21st.
