Basketball Recap: St. Francis Spartans vs. Naperville North Huskies
A win for St. Francis just wasn't in the cards on Saturday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were dealt a 65-38 defeat at the hands of the Naperville North Huskies.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was T?a Rubino, who had 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Quaranta, who posted nine points in addition to three steals.
St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Naperville North, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
St. Francis will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Riverside-Brookfield at 6:00 p.m. As for Naperville North, they will take on Oak Park-River Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
