Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Dayton Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 31-0 back in April.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Dayton, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

While Jefferson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
