Basketball Recap: Groveton Comes Up Short

Groveton was the 37-35 winner over Woodsville when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Groveton Eagles lost 64-39 to the Woodsville Engineers on Friday. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Groveton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodsville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groveton will head out to take on White Mountains at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodsville, they will challenge Lin-Wood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
