It's playoff time, and Washington Union had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Not much got past Trey Morris, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Central Valley Christian off the board. Morris has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

Washington Union pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Central Valley Christian, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
