Basketball Recap: Granger Takes a Loss

Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-14 loss at the hands of the Cascade Kodiaks. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Kodiaks are ranked 110th).

Granger's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cascade, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Granger will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cascade, they will head out on the road to take on Cashmere at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Cascade's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Cashmere's offense will have their work cut out for them.
