JSerra Catholic barely beat Orange Lutheran the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-19.

JSerra Catholic can attribute much of their success to Darren Chi, who had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Chi has posted since back in February. Cameron Martin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

JSerra Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Orange Lutheran, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10.

JSerra Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Mater Dei on the 11th. As for Orange Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Foothill on the 10th.
