Desert Christian hasn't had much luck against Trinity Classical Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Desert Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Valley Torah a 22-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Back at the plate, Desert Christian got a massive performance out of Jason Case, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave Case a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JaHari Jung, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Desert Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .568. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Oakwood on Tuesday, taking the game 4-1.
The team relied heavily on Luke Backes, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Andrew Carlson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
Trinity Classical Academy pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Christian, the win got them back to even at 6-6-2.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Desert Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .468. However, it's not like Trinity Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .503.
