Recap: Minto Lakers vs. Walter Northway Warriors
The Minto Lakers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 82-56 margin over Walter Northway. The victory was nothing new for Minto as they're now sitting on six straight.
Minto's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeff Frank, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Frank has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marsten Capelle, who scored 22 points.
Minto's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Walter Northway, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Minto will be playing in front of their home fans against Tournament Opponent on Thursday. Walter Northway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
