Baseball Recap: Harvest Community Comes Up Short

Harvest Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Raines Vikings.

Jonathan Drost and Ethan Wood stepped up to the plate in a big way. Drost scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Wood got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI. Bradley Crump was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Harvest Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Raines, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Harvest Community has already played their next match, a 20-5 loss against Parker on the 9th. Hopefully Raines payed attention to the Warriors' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
