Adler Hickey gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Hickey and Northfield are on the road again on Wednesday to play Summit at 3:00 p.m. The Nighthawks had to take a loss when they last met the Tigers, but Hickey had little to do with the loss: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
