Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springtown walked away with it. They walked away with a 49-41 win over the Panther Creek Panthers on Friday. The Porcupines' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Jon Anthony Lardizabal had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 292 yards and five TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 110.1 rushing yards per game. Springtown also got help from Christian Mendoza, who showed off his sure hands for 144 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Springtown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 349 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
